The Historical Annual made its first appearance in 1953. The second issue appeared in 1954, following the Far East Academic cum Goodwill Tour. The present publication is the third number of the Annual, no issues being produced in 1955 and 1956. the main obstacle to producing a magazine of this nature is lack of finance.
