Cowboy By Christmas by Anna J. Stewart

Christmas cookies and cocoa...with the enemy!

Heading home for Christmas wasn’t one of US Marshal Matt Blackwell’s action items. But with his family’s Kentucky horse farm in the throes of a race-fixing scandal, he needs to find the culprit. Special investigator Eve Winchester is also in Gold Finch to uncover the facts. And the no-nonsense city girl won’t be swayed by inconvenient feelings for the far-too-attractive enemy, or wooed by the charming town’s warmth and Christmas cheer. But the connection between them is as irresistible as frosted sugar cookies with sprinkles. And teaming up may be the best way to learn the truth. Solving the mystery is their goal, but love could be an unexpected gift this Christmas!
