K-9 Evidence by Linda O. Johnston

He and his K-9 must protect a PI...before she gets herself killed.

Justin Kemplar specialises in training K-9 police dogs and service dogs. When hired by PI Macie Addler to provide a service dog for her injured dad, Justin feels strongly attracted to her. But Macie’s dad is an ex-cop injured during a violent crime. And with the police making little progress, Macie’s determined to investigate on her own. As a former cop, Justin is concerned for Macie’s safety. But since he can’t dissuade her, he and his K-9 Rascal must risk everything to keep her safe.
